07:18 AM ET 09.29 | In an NFL Network interview with Atlanta Falcons wide receivers Julio Jones and Roddy White to air Sunday morning, NFL Network analyst Michael Irvin asked the duo whether Giants receivers Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz are a better tandem than they are. White doesn't think so. "Victor Cruz is a lot more of a slot receiver; the big boys play on the outside," White said. Cruz said he caught some of the game and though he didn't see the preview, some teammates told him about it when he arrived for practice today. "I couldn't care less about what anybody else has to say," Cruz told the Star-Ledger. "I got a ring back at home. I don't care about what Roddy White has to say."

funny, i saw the preview the other day. funny how those 2 even got into college. intelligence just beaming outta them two.

All I know is Victor Cruz has been in the league for 13 months and has already impacted both his team and the league. Roddy White has been in the league for what...5-6 years?...and is still waiting to "reach his potential". I don't think Cruz is the best receiver around, mind you, just that these guys who talk while winning nothing and having undertones of disappointment (holdout, drops history) should try stringing together a few solid years before taking swipes at a guy who arguably co-carried his team to the playoffs during that late run.

I think Ramses Barden just proved last week that it's the system - and probably Eli Manning - that's the key to the Giants passing game. Not the receivers themselves.

Well said, Cruz is a winner, White a wannabe.
