Chicago Cubs aim to reload rotation this winter

11:16 PM ET 09.30 | After trading away Ryan Dempster and Paul Maholm in 2012, the Cubs are looking to add pitching this offseason. GM Jed Hoyer identified the rotation as a key area to be aggressive in over the winter. There are plenty of arms available, but a couple in particular might find the Cubs as a suitor. Cubbies Crib speculates that two starters will be ideal to complement Matt Garza and Jeff Samardzija as they shoot for renewed success as soon as 2014.
