08:01 AM ET 10.01 | Chad Greenway left Calvin Johnson seeing stars, and the linebacker admitted disciplinary action may be coming his way. Greenway was penalized 15 yards for unnecessary roughness after lowering his shoulder into a defenseless Johnson, who missed Matthew Stafford's pass during the fourth quarter of Minnesota's 20-13 victory over the Lions Sunday, Sept. 30. Johnson was knocked woozy and did not return until the game's final drive. ... "I'm thinking he's going to catch that ball 99 percent of the time. He didn't that time. So when I go to try to break the ball up, my pad, it's clear on the tape, it hits his head. What are you going to do? They're going to throw the flag and I'm probably going to get assessed a fine. But my intent was not to hurt him."

Roger will make him pay a fine and wear a pink tutu for two games, to show where the league is going.

Through the first 3 weeks it would have been a non-call.

Non-call implies the replacements would have even seen it.

BTW, way to out the posers, Vikings. The Lions have to be one of the more disappointing teams of the year.

Or they would have called Megatron for offensive pass interference.

Vikings 3-1. Lions 1-3? I did not see that coming. "Bottom rail on top now"

As October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, the pink tutu will be appropriate.

Indeed... as well as the watch on the dismissal of the head coach.

I don't think the Lions are that bad or the Vikings are that good.

After week 3, I didn't expect the Pats to be at the bottom of the AFC East and the Bills to be at the top, either. But, things have a way of turning around and correcting themselves.

As they say, "This too shall pass."

Thanks for the heads up. I will try to be more aware of breasts this month.

Its been on...he is a fantasy dud this year. SMH...waste of my 1st round pick but I should have known that not even Megatron is immune to the 'Madden curse'

It's rather odd that Greenway claims that the tape clearly shows that it was pad that hit Megatron's head....I watched and saw Greenway launch himself into crown of helmet hitting defenseless receiver...it was the EXACT type of hit they have been trying to get rid of...I am rather surprised his wasn't ejected for it.

Why aren't these guys ejected for hits like this. A 20,000 fine ain't going to get someone out of a wheel chair for like hit.

Can't market big hits if the league is going to eject players for the highlight film fodder...

Good point, Otis. Maybe they could market great runs, or great catches, or great interceptions, or something.

Yeah, like NASCAR fans are thrilled when they watch a race for 4 hours and all they see is cars going around an oval.

Football is about contact.
