08:03 AM ET 10.01 | Yes, Marvin Lewis and the Bengals are now somewhat surprisingly 3-1. The Bengals overwhelmed the Jags with talent. Did you think you'd live long enough to see that in print. They didn't have either starting cornerback. They haven't had two starting offensive linemen all year. They got their first interception of the season Sunday, from Chris Crocker, who just showed up at practice Thursday. Lewis said the Bengals are 3-1 while employing "a lot of guys who weren't necessarily going to be quite in the thick of the plan." Such as Vontaze Burfict. ... What Lewis has now, in his 10th season in Cincinnati, is a team that seems to listen. Or, as he puts it, "a group of guys who understand it. Guys getting the opportunity and going and doing it."

" The Bengals overwhelmed the Jags with talent."
There is no reality show called "Jacksonville's Got Talent."
And the days of "The Bungles" are long gone. No surprise, at least not yesterday's game.

WHO-DEY!!!!!
The Tiger has awaken from a deep sleep and if very hungrey.
Really, this team if healthy could be a very good team, the cornerback position and Offensive line has had quite a few injurys but the backups are holding up, at the cornerback position they should get a couple back hopefully this week, the center K.Cook is out for atleast the first half of the season with a bum knee.
The defensive line is starting to jell been hit with some injurys but they got C.Dunlap back and Pat Sims is on the PUP list and should be ready to come back after there Bye week the 7th week of the season. Which will be a big boost to the Line.
Offensively they have alot of depth at the skill positions and should continue to improve each week.

It's a Cam-centric world, but Andy Dalton is playing better and doesn't pout.

3-1 for the Bengals, 1-3 for the Panthers. Cam may be exciting, but he's not winning games.

He also has a DEFENSE that plays on the other side of the ball too....amazing how offense and defense work together to make a complete TEAM!! But of course its easy just to blame Cam for the Panthers failures....be objective please.
With that said-- Andy is very good QB and should be for a long time. Lets give hiim praise for what he does not try to take down another player. He also has the support of a pretty good running game to compliment that offense....and to think, ppl thought they would be lost without Carson Palmer who was the ULTIMATE pouter--remember he essentially quit on the team and forced his way out of there

Yep......and the defensive secondary is got a bunch of guys that no-one wanted, and the outside linebacker Vontaz Burfictt was an undrafted and unwanted player after the draft, He was suppose to be an early draft pick but some personal issues in his senior yr dropped him out, Marvin picks him up and the rest is history, when Thomas Howard went down with a bad knee for the year he stepped in and has been exceptional. When they get healthy at CB they will be a force. Heck you hold Maurice Jones-Drew to 13 carries for 38 yrds. is not bad .

Panthers points-for = 80. Less than Mark Sanchez and the Jets. That has to turn around if they want to make the playoffs.

The Bengals are doing exactly what they did last year - beating teams that won't make the playoffs. Let's not get too excited.

They are just downright NASTY on defense! I've watched 3 of their games this season and the intensity at which they fly to the ball with is impressive...that D-line with Geno & Dunlap is mean..
