Heat concerned about Wade

Well I always said the way he plays one day he is going to wake up and just not be as productive anymore and I mean in like the next 2 years. He hits the ground to much and to hard. Better get a jump shot or its going to be bad.

The Heat should rightfully so be concerned with Wade's health...........I won't elaborate any further on this. The Heat will get my respect until the season starts. Go Heat.....enjoy will it last.

With Allen on this team they can cut Wade's playing time to 30 mins. They still have LeBron as their primary option and Bosh. Take your time Wade a long season it's ahead.

I think this is why they picked up all these other players in the offseason. The Heatles' staff know that Bosh, Wade, And LBJ can't repeat this year with just the three of them. With Wade being hurt so much, they can't count on Chalmers, Battier and Mike Miller to provide consistent production game in and game out.

He's never played 40 minutes a game for any season in his career. Last year he played 33 minutes a game. I can see him being right around there in playing time again this year.

I think people are overreacting a little bit with Wade. He had a nagging knee injury last year. He got that fixed and now he and the Heat are taking their time in order to ensure he is fully healthy when he returns. That's smart. Wade, LeBron and Bosh should all pace themselves and be smart with nursing injuries this year. They are all going to need to be healthy for them to repeat. Plus, they added Lewis and Allen to lighten the regular season load on those guys.

You guys crack me up.

Wade had surgery on his knee and he is 30yrs old.

With LeBron on this team, he does not have to do near the heavy lifting he did.

Wade is only needed for 30 minutes a game, 20 points, 4-5 rebounds and assists.

Toss in Ray Allen and Miller is coming back from his back injury last season, Miami has plenty of depth to rest him during the regular season.

And everyone talks about Kobe being old (runner up in scoring last year).

They picked up the players they have because they fit Miami's style of basketball.

With the way Miami rotates on D, they need agile wing players.

When you have a team that has LeBron, Wade, Bosh...then compliment them with Chalmers, Battier, Miller, Allen, Lewis and Haslem, you are doing just fine.

Fragile??

Wade has started almost 70 games per year over an 8 yr career.

Bryant has played 16 seasons.

Comparing the 2 is silly. Kobe is much older and is the prime scorer on his team.

Wade is the 2nd and could be the 3rd option in Miami.

Wade will have serious shelf life with LeBron and Bosh in town.

The Dude has been reckless his entire career, so it shouldn't be a surprise that his style has taken it's toll on his body. But before we get ahead of ourselves, it's not like he's shot. He was pretty banged up last year too and things came out all right.

More reason to trade him, but unfortunately nobody is going to give close to what the Heat would want for his services considering how injury prone he is... Well then again the Knicks might bite knowing how desperate they are to have a relevant team again...
