08:22 AM ET 10.01 | Perhaps some day soon, Nazem Kadri will get his next best shot to graduate from prospect to pro. But for now, Toronto Marlies coach Dallas Eakins would like to see the talented forward eat better. Speaking on the first day of physical tests for the Marlies players on Friday, Eakins offered a fairly pointed message to the 21-year-old in this his fourth professional training camp. "His body fat today is probably in the bottom three to five guys in our whole camp and that's unacceptable," Eakins said at the MasterCard Centre where players were pushed so hard that several lost their breakfast. "The easiest part of coming into camp is eating correctly and training correctly."

Having to play for the Leafs might have something to do with the players losing their breakfast too...

Didn't realize he was a muslim. And, I think but may be wrong, that fasting during Ramadan is only during the day. Once the sun sets, I believe the fast breaks until the next day.

And didn't resolve any of those issues, either.

It's a good thing both sides are represented by tough guys who don't compromise. Think of the disaster we would have on our hands if they did compromise. Whew, we're dodging a big bullet there!

True enough ..... but I'd blame it on that steady diet of falafels. How can a guy put on weight eating that stuff. Try some Alberta beef FCOL!

I wish there were more muslims like them. Let the hair down, have a few beers, dance with a nice chick and you'd solve most of the violence in the Middle East.
