09:09 AM ET 10.01 | The Baltimore Orioles have been on a tear in September and are one of Major League Baseball's biggest surprises this season. While the Orioles have been on fire and surprising their world, apparently the team plane wanted to join in the fun. The team plane had to perform an emergency landing after a small fire ignited on board. The plane was inspected after landing and went on to finish the flight without anyone being harmed.

Dear God, no. The KGB Chicken was sort of entertaining for a while. Everything since has been too much. The Yankees have managed to do just fine without a mascot.

I wish I could, but you just can't count the Yankees out until the final wooden stake has been driven into their collective heart.
