Hyde taking over for Hall at Ohio State

08:18 AM ET 10.02 | Despite playing only three games, running back Jordan Hall has been Ohio State's most effective runner apart from Braxton Miller. [Hall] is doubtful for Saturday's game with Nebraska because of a partial PCL tear in his knee suffered at Michigan State. So the Buckeyes had Hall and Carlos Hyde healthy together in the backfield for one half against Michigan State, and now it's back to one running back. Hyde had one of the best games of his career against Nebraska last year and smiled at the idea of getting maybe 20 carries this week. He agreed when I asked if the big first down he got to close out the game against the Spartans gave Urban Meyer extra confidence in him. So it could be a big game for Hyde again against the Cornhuskers.

I hope the Blackshirts show up. I think the offense can score but not in a shoot out.
