Brown threatens Texas with shakeups on D

08:20 AM ET 10.02 | Could Geno Smith hang another 70 on a team from Texas? Coach Mack Brown hinted at changes with West Virginia's offense headed to Austin following a 70-63 win over Baylor. The Mountaineers produced five touchdowns of 39 yards or longer. Poor tackling again plagued Texas in an escape at Oklahoma State. By Brown's count, the Longhorns missed 12 tackles resulting in 109 yards and two touchdowns. "It's obviously affecting us right now," Brown said. "We're going to have to look at playing different people. We have enough video of guys that continue to miss tackles. We'll give up 70 this weekend if we don't tackle better than we did Saturday night." Brown didn't single out individual players.

Lots of things need to be fixed. With all that talent it seems they are having a hard time putting it all together.

THIS should be one of the beter games YTD. Comming in to the year, we all heard UTX was back and would lean on that D to win them a bunch of games...they have struggled at times and WVU will really test it.
On the other side of the ball, can the video game offense work on the road versus some stud atheletes? Ought to be really fun to watch & likely a better game than the RRSO.
Still havent't decided who I'm picking in this one.

WVU can light it up but they do not play any defense. Scoring 70 and only winning by 7 is not good.

Yeah, he's great...miss him in CBB...his voice would hit 4 different octives when a 3-pointer was shot late from the time it left till it got to the rim.

I always figured the Capn Morgan would have you listening to the voices in your head instead of the announcers by the time the primetime game came on....you are a true LUS fan, right?

Props to Texas. I watched their game against OSU and they are much improved on offense. I think they have found their QB. Defense seemed shaky but I am sure Mack will get that fixed. This weekend's game against West Virginia should be a good one.
