Why NHL stars flock to Vail

08:25 AM ET 10.02 | Without hockey, Sidney Crosby and Matt Duchene have found a way to experience another form of winter -- by traveling to Vail, where this week's forecast sees lows in the 20s and 30s. Duchene, Crosby and a bunch of other NHL players are in our lovely mountain town this week for some high-altitude training. ... They'll all skate at Dobson Arena during the day and/or do other fitness stuff under the guise of NHL trainer to the stars, Andy O'Brien. I talked to Duchene [Monday], and he was gracious enough to give me a couple quotes as to why he and people like Crosby cherish Vail so much: "We come up here for the amazing facilities and resources but most of all the altitude. We're at close to 8500 feet which puts us in amazing condition."

The people who depend on the NHL for minimum wage jobs to help pay their bills and actually need the money to raise their kids and put food on the table probably won't be in Vail. They'll probably be trying to find other work to get by. Have fun cokeheads.

Out of 5 kids....my sister and I ended up Cowgirls fans, 2 bro's Giants fan and another bro a Jets fan
Goes way back to when the NY teams were horrible and the only other out of town teams on tv were Cowboys and Rams....
