08:29 AM ET 10.02 | Another week, another Jay Cutler mini-controversy. During the second quarter [Monday night], ESPN cameras televised [Cutler] get off the bench and walk away after offensive coordinator Mike Tice sat down next to him. Cutler may have been frustrated with the late delivery of play calls from the sideline; he used a timeout with 6:08 remaining in the first quarter But Cutler downplayed the incident after the game. ... "It wasn't about anything," Cutler said. "I don't have to sit by him the whole game, do I?" Reporters are not permitted to speak to coordinators and assistant coaches after games, but Tice will next be available Wednesday. Asked if there were communication issues, Bears receiver Brandon Marshall coyly said, "Jay frustrated?"

So, is this a Southwest "wanna get away" ad, or should they use it for Right Guard?

If Cam Newton had Cutler's demenor he would be a thing of the past.
For the life of me, I don't see why it's brushed off and not addressed as severely if it were any other player.

Yeah, except that Cutler gives them stuff to stoke up the fire. (What was he doing at the end of the game?) Cutler was good last night, but he is a petulant child who will bask in the credit when things go well and blame everybody else when they don't. You want him to have character, but you know what? He doesn't. Talent, yes; character, no.

Did you see the Green Bay game? That was bad Cutler game. Yeah, he had a good game last night, but you never know what Jay you're going to get. And by the way, like Howard Cosell, I just telling it like it is. I'm glad the Bears won and Cutler was good, but he's a diva-baby. And as Ray Stevens would say, "no brag, just fact."
