08:04 AM ET 10.03 | While the Jets' offensive woes may have overshadowed their loss to San Francisco in the eyes of fans, at least one Niners player saw a more significant story unfold on the other side of the ball. [San Francisco] cornerback Carlos Rogers is saying the Jets basically quit. "It kinda seemed like, after a while they just, I know, looking at their defense, they didn't want to be out there," Rogers said on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday. "And after that it's like, man, these guys don't really want to play the game. ... Rogers said he could see the Jets giving up. "You could see it happening," Rogers said. "It kinda shocked me just because, you know, a lot of guys were saying on the sideline, 'Oh, they don't want to tackle, they don't want to do this.'"

Gang Green waving the White flag???

It doesn't take a professional football player on the field to see this. Any of us beer drinkers watching the game on TV can see the same thing. A few guys keep trying all the way, but after the game is totally out of reach, and the offense isn't getting the job done, well, it's hard to keep your edge.

The Bills looked the same way against the Patriots.

If they weren't during the 49er game, they might be during Sunday's game against the Texans.

The Texans' defense could set a few records of their own, too.

That could be a fun game to watch.

Look! Out on the field!
It's a quarterback!
It's a receiver!
It's Tebow-Man!

Yes, Tebow-Man, strange visitor from another division, who came to New York with powers and abilities far beyond those of, well, the other guy. Tebow-Man, who can change the course of hopeless games, bend the path of field goals with his bare mind, and who, disguised as Timothy, mild-mannered apostle for a great western religion, fights a never-ending battle for truth, justice and the American way.

So bye bye, Mr. Rex Ryan guy. Guaranteed the playoffs, now your team has run dry. And though you added Tebow, the improvement was nigh. Next year you'll be an unemployed guy. Next year you'll be an unemployed guy.

It's not nice. But I'm gonna watch the Jets take a pounding and I'm going to like it.

They'd better have a few extra sets of headphones for him to rip off and throw to the ground.

And a 5-second time delay on any camera shot close enough to read lips.

I'm getting a case of a nice microbrew so I can really enjoy the game.
