08:08 AM ET 10.03 | The Nets gave Deron Williams plenty of reasons for frustration last season, something he hopes the offseason has cured. [Williams] said that things should be much different this season. "I've never been in that position before," Williams said of last season's struggles. "So, yeah, at times I showed frustration, but I think anybody would have. ... You're getting your [butt] kicked and then you [have guys] in the locker room laughing about the game afterwards. I don't think that's that funny. That's what we had to deal with last year, and that's what I don't think we're gonna deal with this year because just talking to the guys, the guys we have now, that's not what they're about."

It's way different. Lopez was out all season, so Lopez (20PPG) has never played with Deron & Wallace. So now you add Joe Johnson to that and keep double-double guy Humphries, and this team is brand new. Add to that, the ENTIRE D-League bench is gone outside of MarShon Brooks. Those guys were starting last year. I mean Johan Petro & Shelden Williams were starting. GAG.

The toughest part of losing is losing teams ur supposed to beat... it's part of the process for teams that get newly assembled so if DWill thinks last season was as bad as it gets he's in for a rude awakening....
