Yes they could. They have no real receiving threat any more, so they might as well go with the guy who gives them the best option to run the ball.

Duh??????? Of course his job is on the line. It was on the line at the end of the season when he and the Jets went belly up and didn't make the playoffs. Tebow was a clear, albeit, not announced replacement to Sanchez. Sanchez clearly understands this. He knows why Tebow is there.
He been keeping Tebow close as in keep your enemies closer....
I would not be shocked if he sucks in the first half he is pulled and is on the bench for Tebowmania. IF Tebow comes out and does something miraculous, ol Sanchez better start polishing his resume for a back up role somewhere next year.

Tebow will last as long as any other QB that decides to run everytime his primary is covered. Not too long.

Making a difference isn't what the Jets are about. Making headlines is all that matters to them.

This is funny. The situation with the Jets is pretty comical...unless you're a Jets fan. If you are then you may want to consider jumping ship to a team with a brighter outlook than the Jets..... like Cleveland.

They should, just to show how much Tebow sucks. Let his get his head stoved in a few times by Houston, then get back to Sanchez. Unfortunately, he sucks to. And of course the Jets suck as well, but I digress.

I like the Jets, so lemme get this out of the way first. Sanchez sucks. But still...Joe Montana would end up looking through his earhole behind this crappy line, in front of these crappy RB's and throwing to these junior varsity receivers.
Mark Sanchez is a problem, but he's not THE problem. The problem is that of a 53 man roster, the Jets have maybe 25 guys who wouldn't survive the cut on most other teams. This team needs a rebuild from the GM to the parking attendants and everyone in between. Switching to Tebow takes them from 5-11 to 6-10. So what? Start drafting some damn NFL type players and groom a competent QB. Enough of this "Is Shemp better than Curly" stupidity.

They don't have a receiver who knows how to catch a Fooyball, if the quarterback gets the time to throw it, I bet they lead the league in dropped passes!

It did for the Denver Broncos last season.

I thought Sanchez had plenty of time to throw the ball against the 49ers and he rushed his throws. Sanchez no longer has one of the best rushing offenses and it shows

It's tough when your team is in that much disarray. There seems to be no strengths other than the water boy keeping everybody hydrated. Well at least Ryan has finally stopped ranting about being the best team and winning the SB this year. Time for a complete housecleaning and start fresh. Tebow will be an adequate backup somewhere but that's about it.
