08:20 AM ET 10.04 | Earlier this week, Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien addressed the possible struggles he could face while recruiting over the next few years, and he revealed some of his plans for addressing the challenge. "That's a strategy we're talking about every day," he said. O'Brien said that at each home game so far this year about 40 to 50 recruits have visited. In the same vein he explained to his players this summer, he says he explains to recruits about how Beaver Stadium provides an environment and attendance few stadiums could match. O'Brien has also started inviting NFL scouts to practices. ... O'Brien acknowledged recruiting would not be easy but tries to focus on the parts of the program he can showcase.

The atmosphere that he and the fan base has created should help.

QUOTE(#11):

Taking away 4 bowl games for Penn State is like telling george Clooney he can't have sex for 4 years but can date all the pretty woman he wants. Screw the NCAA and Penn State should have fought the ban not wimped out. I still don't think Penn State did anything wrong. and Joe's dead. The football team committed no crime and should not have been punished.

The players them selfs didn't commit the crime......but the coaching staff did and some of the members of that staff just turned there heads.

It will hurt recruiting for the next few years ,but on the other hand they might get some players that other schools did not want that could turn out to be good players, but my guedd in about 3 yrs. things will be back to normal in the recruiting department.

This guy's got something because he's not only managed to keep the team together reasonably, but has also got it winning. I have PSU over Northwestern this weekend.
