08:23 AM ET 10.04 | Welcome to the KHL, Nail Yakupov. [Yakupov] scored two goals and the winning penalty shot in a match-winning display as Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk grabbed a surprise 3-2 win on the road at SKA St. Petersburg on Wednesday. In a match where all the goals were scored by NHL lockout signings, Edmonton Oilers forward Yakupov's first KHL goal canceled out St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko's first-period opener for SKA. Ilya Kovalchuk of the New Jersey Devils gave SKA a 2-1 lead with 1 minute 30 seconds left of the first period, but Yakupov leveled the score again ten minutes into the third to send the game to scoreless overtime. After 30 penalty shots, Yakupov beat SKA's NHL goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to give Neftekhimik the win.
