Where is Randy Moss?

08:05 AM ET 10.05 | The hype surrounding Randy Moss landing in San Francisco, which included accounts that he looked like the best receiver on the team, has given way to statistical reality. By pure snaps, Moss is San Francisco's No. 4 receiver. Michael Crabtree leads the way with 179 offensive snaps. Mario Manningham is a distant second with 129 snaps. Then comes Kyle Williams with 84 snaps, and Moss with 80. Think about that for a minute: Kyle Williams has played more on offense -- not special teams -- than Randy Moss. (Neither player has been productive: Moss has 88 yards, Williams 16.) When you add tight end Vernon Davis to the mix, Moss really is the fourth or fifth receiving option on the 49ers.

I love when people get surprised by the obvious. Did anyone not see this disappearing act coming? People in New England certainly did.

The O's have played great ball this season, but the Rangers aren't new to the post-season. Plus it's in Texas.

For half of the training camp there was a question as to whether or not he'd even make the team. What he has done is kick up the intensity of the other receivers by being 'good Randy' in practice and meetings. Anything he does on the field is just gravy for the '9ers.

When you have a 7-game homestand at the end of the season playing the other division contenders and go 3-4, not a good sign as we saw finishing the season going 0-3 in Oakland.

A's are the hottest team in the League right now, but the Rangers are built for the post-season.
