[Maggette] has been a full participant in camp with no setbacks, and he's looking forward to the regular season. "This is a great opportunity to work with the young guys," he said. "I'm helping them out, they're helping me out. I'm getting better in shape, and my body feels good. That's what is important." ... Maggette is ready to follow a point guard entering his second season. Maggette proclaimed Brandon Knight the leader of the Pistons. He has taken to calling him the "franchise player." "That's what I consider him as, because this is a guy that can set the tempo for everybody," Maggette said.

This guy is a work a holic. He is determined to be a very good player. I like the kid a lot. I think he needs to work on setting up the offensive and his driving to the lane but I think this kid will be a good player. Glad he dropped to us and made Joe have a no brainer pick cause he would have took some crap if not.

My bad, you're right..........I assumed it by glancing at the article rather than reading it. The name Maggette just reminds me so much of the term "bump around kid" and so I prematurely couldn't view him as anyones fanchise player! Thanks though!
