A&M preparing for three Ole Miss QBs

08:15 AM ET 10.05 | During this past week, Texas A&M's defense has had a little extra homework in prepping for Mississippi and enigmatic quarterback Bo Wallace. [It's] unclear how much Wallace will play against the Aggies, given that Mississippi coach Hugh Freeze re-opened the quarterback competition after the Rebels' 33-14 loss on the road to top-ranked Alabama. Wallace threw two interceptions. ... Freeze's plan means A&M defensive coordinator Mark Snyder must do more homework on backup Barry Brunetti, who also had an interception against Alabama. Plus, former Rebels quarterback Jeff Scott is in the backfield as a running back. He leads the team in rushing with 317 rushing yards a game. And he opens up options of the trick play variety.

They really aren't very good at moving the ball when Bo Wallace isn't in. Other than that, just play your reads and do your job when the other QBs are in, and they'll be fine.

This is actually an interesting game to me and I think a guy like the A&M QB is fun to watch.

Last night I watched the UCF and they could actually put 3 QB's on the field at one time in their Wild Knight formation. Their starting QB early this year got moved to WR and then they bring in their backup QB for this formation. Lot's of possibilities...anyone watch this game last night? Ruffin McNiel must be doing PX 90 with LUS, dude has lost a TON of weight....

Why is this news?

Freeze sends out scholly offers by the hundreds, so why is anybody surprised he has 3 QBs on the field? You're just lucky it's not all 11 players.
