Kevin Durant bulking up for next season

10:19 AM ET 10.05 | Remember when everyone was telling LeBron James to go into the post more? He did and then he won his first NBA title. Get ready for everybody to start telling that to Kevin Durant now. The good news though: Durant is going into the post more and he's bulking up, too. The biggest knock on Durant has always been his thin frame. He's still definitely skinny but the more he fills out, the better, because the Thunder are going to need him to start scoring more in the post. Durant scored 0.89 points per possession on post-up plays which is decent but not great. He shot just 42.5 percent from the post, a number that he can definitely improve upon. Bulking up will help with that a lot.

If he bulks up enough (like Dwight Howard) he can start at center (like Magic did as a rookie against the Sixers).

You know who should learn some post moves, Serge Ibaka... If someone needs it, its definitely him.
Good to see Durant bulking up though, as long as it all stays balanced.

Quite possible, but IMO KD doesn't have the inside game to play center. I'm old enough to remember that game that Magic played as a rookie against Philly when Jabbar was hurt, not too many players can play center as a rookie and score 42 points, while pulling down 15 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists.

Also Magic was about the same height as KD and Magic played at around 250 lbs and was a PG, really amazing when you think of it!!! KD is about 235 lbs, so IMO he would have to bulk up a little to even consider playing at center.
