Jeremy Stephens arrested prior to UFC on FX 5 bout

01:11 PM ET 10.05 | UFC lightweight Jeremy Stephens was expected to face off against Yves Edwards at tonight's UFC on FX 5 event at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. However, after Stephens was arrested earlier this morning, the bout is in jeopardy. Stephens is being held at the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility after being arrested by the Minneapolis Police Department at the Marriott City Center Hotel. The hard-hitting 155-pounder has not been formally charged with any crimes. Stephens' representatives did not return messages from MMAjunkie.com and UFC officials could not be reached for comment.
