10:00 AM ET 10.06 | West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen ruled out running back Shawne Alston for Saturday night's game at Texas, saying the senior is continuing to recover from a thigh bruise and simply isn't ready to go yet. "We're going to move on without him this week," Holgorsen told Tony Caridi and MetroNews on the Dana Holgorsen Statewide Sportsline show Thursday night. "If he's out there practicing next week, we'll play him in the game. But he tried to go here for the last couple of days and just wasn't able. He's going to continue to get that thigh worked on and we'll hopefully get him back next week. Alston made a splash in the season opener against Marshall, finishing with 123 yards and two touchdowns, but suffered an injury the following game against James Madison.
