Tyson Chandler critical of Jeremy Lin's play

10:38 AM ET 10.06 | Was that someone criticizing Jeremy Lin at Knicks camp? While Knicks coach Mike Woodson has run from the Lin issue, center Tyson Chandler was blunt, saying Lin was too "inexperienced" and their point-guard trio of Raymond Felton-Jason Kidd-Pablo Prigioni is an upgrade over last season's Lin-Baron Davis-Mike Bibby troika. "Baron was hurt and Jeremy was a young point guard who was just learning and figuring out an offense," Chandler said. "It was nothing against them and it was definitely nothing against Baron. Jeremy was a young point guard who was inexperienced, who brought a great light to the organization. But as far as being able to run the offense and putting players in the right position he just wasn't there. We got some veteran point guards that are capable of doing that."

Chandler has a point Lin was learning to play pg!! The Heat exposed Lin badly....when they trapped Lin, he tried to dribble the ball instead of passing before the trap occurred. Then the Heat exposed Lin again by forcing him to go left...he has no left...Lin had lots of work to do!!

That is honest and reasonable. He wasn't criticizing. He was basically a rookie. He was inexperienced. I still wish they kept him. Trade the rest of those fools and teach the kid how to play the point and in a year or two you have a point guard that can win (as he showed with the **** talent he was put with at the time) for the next 10 years. But the Knicks are still the lets try to win with the crap we have now rather than build a franchise for the future. Didn't work then, won't work now.

Sounds to me like Chandler doesn't have a clue as to what the hell he's talking about. Lin ran the offense perfectly and without him, the Knicks would have likely LOST those 8 straight instead of won them. Funny how we never heard him complain about Lin's play and inexperience while they were together and winning... and only hear about it now when he's gone and the Knicks got nothing.

Knicks still can't move past their offseason issues? C'mon, shape up and get ready for the season. You guys became older. Nah, ancient with Camby, JKidd, Thomas and Sheed.
