Where's Witten?

05:31 PM ET 10.06 | One of my favorite activity books as a child was the "Where's Waldo" series. For those not familiar with the series, it was a picture book with a bunch of chaotic scenes, and within each different scene there was a hidden figure, Waldo, that you had to spot within all the wackiness. The Cowboys have their own version called "Where's Witten," referring to the Cowboys tight end. Until last week against Chicago, Witten had been basically nonexistent in the 2012 season. Witten has been a perennial Pro Bowler, and it was odd to see him putting up such pedestrian numbers in the early part of this season. If the Cowboys want to turn their season around, they better use their the upcoming bye week to figure out how to get Witten involved in the offense for the big plays Cowboys fans are accustomed to seeing.

Should have kept that other tight end and let Romo's BFF@TE go before he starts to decline IMO.

What are you effing kidding? He's slowly trying to work his way back from a lacerated spleen. Is the author the only idiot on the planet who doesn't know this or is it just bash Cowboys week (again)?

Not here.

Of course, we haven't had our weekly Star Tribune contribution in quite some time so I suppose I shouldn't be quick to judge.

Could be worse. They could give us a steady diet of wannabe sports journalism from The Bleacher Report. Mornin', Otis. Sorry about your Rangers. I have a feeling the one game playoff idea is going down in a hail of rotten tomatoes.

No one to blame but themselves, Deej. They fell flat on their faces down the stretch and the game was a microcosm of their last two weeks.

Still... It's been a nice run. Now it's time to get the kids in there and start another one.

Sadly, IMO, it is here to stay. Lousy idea from the beginning driven only by $ to increase regular season attendance.
