09:44 AM ET 10.07 | Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor confirmed that it was coach Rick Adelman who no longer wanted center Darko Milicic on the roster and who pushed for new forward Andrei Kirilenko and new guard Alexey Shved. And that it was team President David Kahn who sought guard Brandon Roy. Taylor also said the Wolves were willing to overpay for restricted free agent small forward Nicolas Batum, who ended up with Portland after the Trail Blazers matched their $45 million, four-year offer sheet. "That's behind us," Taylor said.

Phew! I was consumed with anxiety fretting about who made the decision to let Darko go. Now I finally know. I can eat again.

Further more.... He couldnt judge talent if the person bumped into him. He couldnt win w/ a very young Bibby, Vlade Divac or Webber.... I see a trend, he probably didn't like Petrovic(whom was better than Ainge at this point), probably didnt like Divac or Peja. and we all know he didn't even give Milicic a chance.

So you want Darko on your team? Would you have drafted him ahead of LeBron, oh all-knowing expert?

no not at all.... But the dude has taken a lot. Chosen 2nd over-all. Didn't do well. Had to play for some of the coaches he's had.... So far Doc is the only legit coach he's had. I don't take pleasure in knocking someone when they're down. This is why I have no respect for Adelman or Taylor. And I hope they lose. Sitt, how would you like it if it were you, a friend or brother and you have your past employer telling everyone to hear that they were glad they were done w/ you or didn't even want you working for them. It's unprofessional. The Lakers, Celtics, two of the best Franchises out there would never do this to an "outgoing" or a past player... Never. It's unprofessional.

Good points.

Can you blame him? The Timberwolves are trying to build a team. What part of that does Darko help with?

So your saying Larry Brown was not a legit coach....interesting Darko is an epic failure. He shows glimpses but mostly he is just a space. If he were not 7 feet he would have been out of the league. He is better used as a human cigar.
