09:56 AM ET 10.07 | Even as he faces the prospect of being unemployed next week because the Red Wings won't start their schedule on time, Henrik Zetterberg isn't eager to find work elsewhere. He, along with a dozen Wings teammates, have been skating at Troy Sports Center since the week after owners locked out players Sept. 16. The last time there was a lockout, which ended up erasing the 20040-05 season, Zetterberg played in his native Sweden. Back then, though, he was a 23 and single and between NHL contracts. Now he's 31, married (though no children) and with a contract that has nine years and more than $50 million left on it. "I'm going to stay for now," Zetterberg said. "It's going to be tough to go to Sweden for the insurance, and with all the taxes we have there. It's going to be tough to go back to Sweden and play. But there are other leagues in Europe that you can go to."

Dang Hank, thought you were taking some philosophical stance, but instead it's about...the taxes. Everything is sad. I feel as frustrated with the negotiating as I did with the Simpsons negotiating: "Then it's agreed: during the bargaining session, we each get two candy apples...all right, one candy and one caramel."
