Matt Kenseth getting new spotter

Oh well.. with Kenseth moving on.. guess his 'former' spotter is too

anyone else notice a lot of strange things have been happening to kenseths cars recently? broken shock, broken sway bar mount.. seems as if the cat in the hat doesn't want him to win the championship

Contracts were made to be broken through good behavior clauses. After the stunt Kurt pulled, driving away with safety workers not just around the car, but still working on it with their equipment on the trunk, I have a feeling NASCAR will be sitting him out a few more races this year, if not all of them.

not trying to argue, I really am just curious but how did johnson finish 17th when his car was done and couldn't cross the finish line. How does that work? I know jr and harvick crept across, so how does the 48 finish ahead of the 88? That could be big in the end when it comes to the 48 2 and 11 ect. I just don't understand that.

i'm waiting until the results are official to check them out since its a cluster f.. jimmie actually did cross the finish line though, and got a lift back to the garage..

I'll attempt to make this understandable. When a caution comes out during a GWC finish, Nascar some how magically freezes the race at that instance, and starts assigning positions. The 17 was awarded 1st place at that moment..... not when he crossed the finish line. If you watch the replay on Nascar.com, you can see that 17 is in the lead, and 24 on the bottom is 2nd (I couldn't figure out how Gordon got 2nd until I saw the video).

The race stopped immediately when the Yellow flag waved. There seemed to be a slight delay, and Stewart got passed by like 20 cars.... find that a little questionable. NO ONE had to cross the finish line.

If what your post says is true, NASCAR has a serious credibility problem.

If a wreck occurs at the end of the race the car HAS to cross the finish line. A car that is stopped on the track half way between turn 4 and the finish line CANNOT finish ahead of a car that misses the wreck and finishes the race....it doesn't make sense.

I understand the freezing of the field, but even when they freeze the field, say, in the middle of the race, if a car cannot continue...it gets passed by every other car that can continue....thereby allowing them to finish ahead of the wrecked car.

Did I make that understandable?
