08:01 AM ET 10.08 | At first, Chiefs tackle Eric Winston chose his words carefully when it came to Kansas City fans seemingly cheering an injury to quarterback Matt Cassel. "But when somebody gets hurt ... there are long-lasting ramifications to the game we play ... I've already come to the understanding I probably won't live as long because I play this game. And that's OK. That's the choice I've made. That's the choice all of us made. But when you cheer somebody getting knocked out, I don't care who it is, and it just so happened to be Matt Cassel, it's sickening. It's 100 percent sickening. I've been in some rough times on some rough teams. I've never been so embarrassed in my life to play football than at that moment right there."

He is absolute 100 on this.

Now all you geniuses out there.....yeah, you know the ones who were championing Matt Cassell, Kevin Kolb, Matt Flynn and now the new guy next great QB, Kurt Cousins.....look at there fate and your erroneous predictions as great QBs worth all of those ill advised contracts. Do you hear yourselves. Now look at your prediction fa Eli Manning future HOF QB........you won't, I know, but Apple will. Big Blue Wreckin Crew! Not so quietly speaking the Yanks r n da house baby!

Bad times in Kansas City. Its tough being the worst team in the worst division in pro football.

I just saw the clip of Winston on ESPN giving the KC media a piece of his mind.

Well done, Eric Winston.

Funny reading the local papers fans are claiming that they were either cheering the play which had just finished OR they were blaming the Ravens fans that were in attendance.

Let's see, there was a plane flying overhead BEFORE the game begging the Chiefs to bench Cassell, people booing him during the game BEFORE he got hurt, and cheered Brady Quinn (first time he's been cheered since taking the field for the first time at Notre Dame).

Yup, sounds like they want to blame everybody but themselves for their selfish actions. Regardless of who cheers for who, NOBODY should ever be cheered for being injured. Shame on you Chiefs fans, thought I was watching a Philadelphia Eagles game.
