08:02 AM ET 10.08 | No one was more pleased for the Indianapolis Colts than their stricken coach, who would later have the game ball delivered to him. Chuck Pagano appreciated the support, the effort, the outcome. "I am so proud of this team, staff, organization, fans, community, etc." he told The Indianapolis Star via email after watching the Colts' 30-27 upset of the Green Bay Packers from his hospital room at IU Health Simon Cancer Center. "(I) could go on and on. I am the luckiest man in the world. I said it when I got this opportunity several months ago and I am repeating it now. The 12th man came through big time along with the TEAM THAT REFUSED TO LOSE. FAMILY!!!! TEAM TEAM TEAM. COMMUNITY."

Get well coach!

I guess Packer fans will now say it was because the Colts just got up for the game and that they had to somehow get over the additionals human emotions of the Colts. Excuses, excuses!

TJ, Berman, Chris, Key and the Coach.......what ever happen to the Pack being the best team in the league? There now sitting two games behind da Bears at 2-3. Now whatta you got TJ?

You wanna start giving the Blue some respect? On second thought we don't need ya to, we'll simply take like we always do. Never forget this term........New York Giants!...headline your show with them as lead topic, it'll do the show some good....TRUST ME.

Stories like this are why we love sports. You can't help but feel good about Pagano and the Colts.

As far as the Pack goes, their defense was swiss cheese last year and was completely exposed by the Giants in the playoffs. They were supposed to have addressed that in the off-season, but I haven't seen it on the field yet.

Watching the highlights and listening to Ron Jaworski trying to describe the Packers defense as generally "outstanding and complex" makes me laugh.

Inspirational game and story.

October 8, 2012  09:50 AM ET

Let's see if the Colts can extend their win streak next Sunday.

It is a great story, no doubt.

However, I'm pretty sure the luckiest man in the world isn't in the hospital right now.
