Bynum good for 25 a night?

08:09 AM ET 10.08 | Los Angeles' Dwight Howard or Philadelphia's Andrew Bynum? The Sixers I've talked to are firmly in their teammate's camp. This includes Jrue Holiday, Evan Turner, Dorell Wright and Jason Richardson (who has played with Howard). One of them even went as far to say that Bynum, who will be their first option rather than the third, as he was in Los Angeles, could average 25 points this season. ... If you think your guy is better, that's going to help the team down the road. It might not be true (remember, the Sixers got Bynum as a result of their early pursuit of Howard), but if the Sixers believe in Bynum that bodes even better for him when he returns. Speaking of Bynum, he looks to be in great condition.

"The Sixers I've talked to are firmly in their teammate's camp"
This statement is not journalism. Do some real research and ask around the league buddy. If his teammates said anything different then that would be a story

Both are going to miss preseason games to heal. Don't have a lot of confidence in either of them to play all 82 games.

Sounds legit...The guy is prob one of the best low post players in the league....Now he must remain healthy but i could see 25 a night as a #1 guy....

The key for Bynum is learning when to kick out and when to force the issue. I don't think he's been in that position before so it will be tough for him and the guards who will feel like Bynum's not giving up the ball for wide open shots... that will create a little discomfort as they learn to play with a dominant big man.
However the real mark for Bynum should be on the defensive end. He's never been the one to take pride in anchoring the defense but Philly will need that from him. If he's unable to do that all his great strides on offense will amount to nothing.
They will struggle to make the playoffs. It will be an up and down season as they realize what they had in Iguodala. They will miss all round game. Getting Bynum is a great move. It puts them in a position to build for the future... not now.

Why is it that you're a cool, reasonable guy in the baseball threads, but when you come over to the NBA, you feel so compelled to act a fool?

And also bc Bynum doesnt have to share the ball with a guy like Kobe in Philly. He'll get enough touches to get at least 22ppg

The title hopes are true, but Howard is going to average 16-18, but not 20-22. He's not a first option anymore. He may still get his usual rebounds, but not points.

Bynum will get around 23-25 a night around 11 rebs game and probably 2 Blk/gm. He is truely the only legit post pressence we have on the team. This will be the first time that he will be a 1st option probably since high school. I think the Sixers will run Bynum in the post heavily run pick and pop with Hawes. Richardson, Nick Young and the rest better be prepared to spot up on the wing to get some open looks.

I gotta see this guy play 80 games more than once and not mentally crap the bed 3-4 times a season before I even sip his Kool-aid. That 23 and 12 everyone is expecting will be a lot less impressive if it only encompasses 40 games and those week-long mental vacations he's prone to. So lets see first.
