USC's Lee on D?

Given that the scholarship restrictions will eventually cause depth problems on the team, maybe it'd be a good idea if Kiffin decides to teach two-way football to the players he has!

Oh yeah, the polls will definitely be changing in the next few weeks. There are still some big games coming up. USC/Oregon, USC/ND, LSU/South Carolina, LSU/Bama, Florida/South Carolina and Georgia/Florida.

Like I said a few days ago, IMO USC has too much of a depth issue to take a chance on playing Lee on both sides of the ball.

GTH, we will never know for sure if Lee is a good of an athlete to play both sides of the ball, unless LK allows it. I'm just saying that IMO, Lee is too good of a athlete and USC needs him on the offensive side of ball. Too much of a risk to allow him to play defense. Again, just my opinion!!!

Also to answer your question "Are the Trojans thin or flush at CB and/or WR?". Yes I think they are thin at the WRs position, Woods still is nursing some minor injuries.

Definitely more depth at WR than CB. Lane is right though, Marqius is way too valuable to take a chance. Scary thing is, he was actually a better DB in HS, than he was a receiver. Who knows how it would have turned out if he stayed on D???

Our WR depth is actually really good. The kid Algahor looks like he can really play. Flourney and Blackwell have done some good things in spot time. Outside of Robey, the corners are having trouble. Hopefully somebody steps up.

Both teams will have a lot to prove with this game.... Irish fans want that 12-0 season & SC wants to show the CF world they should still be a top 10 or top 5 team.

Still early in the season to worry about Nov.
