Buckeyes dreaming of 12-0, national title

08:17 AM ET 10.08 | After beating Nebraska Saturday, Bradley Roby, who'd returned an interception for a touchdown in a 63-38 win, admitted the Buckeyes' goals include an undefeated season. "We're trying to go 12-0, win every single game, try to get that AP No. 1 and win a national championship." ... So there it is. Halfway through the season, let's put the cards on the table and take on the two things on the minds of Ohio State fans right now. Can Ohio State go 12-0 and maybe challenge for that top spot in the AP poll? Can quarterback Braxton Miller win the Heisman, or at least get to New York as a finalist? ... Even at 12-0, the AP national title will be tough. The Buckeyes would have to be the only unbeaten BCS team.

If they are on probation, how can they be considered for any title?

The AP Poll would be the only place they could be #1. That's assuming enough of their voters don't factor in the major probation into the voting process.

Watch the buckeyes go 12-0 and do not and can not win the title, and then it works out this is the only season UM goes undefeated there. Karma.

Do not envy your remaining games...South Carolina..FSU and if things go as planned, Alabama. I exclude Georgia because they might finish as the most untested 2 loss team in the nation.

That's LUS Piratey, not a real gator fan.

He lost an avi bet to GR and BSB.

You must be quite pleased about your weekend though. It must be the equivalent to the USC "Perfect Day" You beat LSUFSU gets upset by a terrible NCStateMiami gets embarrassed in prime time, giving up 41 and not able to get into the endzone

It was nice, no doubt. However, the only "perfect day" in G-ville is when they grease the lamp poles. 2006 had that happen twice.
