08:22 AM ET 10.08 | Another roadblock has been cleared on the long-speculated path for King Henrik to return to Sweden during the lockout. The big obstacle for a European club looking to sign a locked-out N.H.L. star is the cost of insuring that player against injury. The Swedish Elitserien club Frolunda Gothenburg seems to have overcome that barrier in its attempt to sign Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist, the city's hometown hero, for the duration of the lockout. This weekend Frolunda has put together financing to cover the cost of Lundqvist's insurance, which is estimated at about $30,000 a month. ... (Update: Lundqvist???s agent, Don Meehan, said via e-mail late Sunday night that he had "nothing to report" on Lundqvist and Frolunda.)
