11:58 AM ET 10.08 | When Jeremy Lin was starring for the New York Knicks last season, few people benefitted more than Tyson Chandler. With Lin in Houston, though, Chandler is now singing an entirely different tune. Here's what he had to say now that Lin is no longer on his team: "Jeremy was a young point guard who was inexperienced, who brought a great light to the organization. But as far as being able to run the offense and putting players in the right position he just wasn't there. We got some veteran point guards that are capable of doing that."

QUOTE(#3):

Lin didn't have melo's respect, therefore- it wasn't going to work

I would say Melo didn't earn Lin's respect. Part of the reason if not the main reason Lin was not allowed back is Melo. Melo got real jealous seeing Lin ressurect basketball in the city. Lin was clearly the man as he became more popular than any Knick...

WHAT HAS MELO DONE FOR KNICKS?

Now I do agree with Chandler in the sense the Lin is not an experienced point guard so it's not rocket science to know he did not run the offense efficiently. Chandler was stating the obvious so I don't know what the fuzz is all about...

Lin will probably tell you he sure needs time to grow. He's not a finished product and Knicks didn't want to wait for him to grow with Melo and STAT getting on the decline. Whether or not his replacements are any better is left to be seen...

With all due respect, I'm trying to figure out how what Chandler said in the article differs from what was written here? Admittedly, my disdain for the Knicks is well noted, but I still try to be fair. On that note, I didn't see any deviation between the article and the snippet here above... For instance:

"Chandler was a big Lin fan and praised him repeatedly last season. But with Lin now a member of the Houston Rockets, the Knicks have moved on."

Whatever the case, whether it was said outright or implied it seems like a weaselly comment from Chandler.

Lin would likely say the same thing. I don't see where the news is here with this one?

QUOTE(#1):

Boo hoo Tyson. Blaming a player that is no longer with the team is a cheap shot.

Go cry somewhere else, little baby.

Repeat story-repeat answer....Lin didn't have melo's respect, therefore- it wasn't going to work(for better or worse)He's gone, we have to now hope the current pg can stay in a shape other than pear

Dude you sound a lot like "lostwill" with lets blame everything on Melo, ya the one guy who actually shows up during the playoffs & regular season. Jeremy Love had great 15 game stretch granted, but to suggest his ass isn't there because of Melo is completely misguides and distorted lined with hate. Not only did melo play during the season, he in fact carried the Knicks the entire month of April carryin them into the playoffs when Jeremy Love elected to sit his ass on the bench and not risk further injury. This fact is undisputable and NBA fans know this to be the truth.

Jeremy Love elected to sign a offer with Houston after having been told by Knicks mgmt to go out and see whats out there. This is also a fact that everyone knows. Jeremy Love convinced the Rockets, signed and the Knicks did not match the offer sheet. According to your accounts, Melo apparantly went to Jimmy Boy Dolan and mgmt and told them not to match the offer, "delusional"! The fact is, just as Tyson said, Jeremy Love couldn't run the the effectively when money ball was in play and was too inexperienced and quite frankly, not talented enough. Your misguided version would be that Tyson has been qouted outta perspective. I love to say it, ya boy Jeremy Love bounced his hot little ass outta town fa da money on his own accord so face it and live with it. Loudly and factually "Melo had nothin to do with the Ghostness of one Jeremy Love. That fraud did it to himself fa himself. The Knicks and Melo are moving on without his ass.
