04:04 PM ET 10.08 | It gets even worse for Arkansas, which has lost leading tackler Alonzo Highsmith for the rest of the season due to a foot injury. Highsmith also missed time during spring ball due to being hurt. From coach John L. Smith, who announced the news Monday:

Coach John L. Smith said Highsmith's injury involves ligament damage. Highsmith was the team's leading tackler and has 54 for the season. Senior linebacker/defensive lineman Tenarius Wright is underdoing an MRI today. No update on his status for the remainder of the season. Cornerback Tevin Mitchel has been cleared to resume practice, Smith said. Mitchel was out after a hit to the head and having his gallbladder removed.
Highsmith is the son of the former Miami and Cowboys star of the same name.

Speaking of.... Does anyone like Tim Brando? I've never seen a bigger know-it-all than him. He certainly personifies the old saying, "Always certain, seldom right."

I know his loss hurts, but can it really get any worse?

The one guy that knew how to tackle and we lose him. That's nice.

I refuse to ask that question. When you do, you usually get the answer pretty quickly.

He has pics of "people" doing "things". No doubt in my mind whatsoever.
