08:31 AM ET 10.09 | The rivalry extends -- of course -- to recruiting, too. The Kentucky and Louisville men's basketball teams both have had their recruiting eyes on Minnesota the past few weeks, meeting and monitoring tall, sweet-shooting five-star junior guard Rashad Vaughn. The 6-foot-5 Vaughn, arguably the top shooting guard in the 2014 class, got a visit at his school, Robbinsdale Cooper High, last month from UK coach John Calipari, who offered a scholarship. ... [Vaughn] said he's had good conversations over the phone with [Rick Pitino]. "They run my style of play, and the coaches are real cool," he said. As for UK, Vaughn is one of only a handful of 2014 prospects -- and thought to be the only shooting guard -- to hold an offer from the Cats.
