Jets sticking with Sanchez

11:02 AM ET 10.09 | Jets QB Mark Sanchez completed only 14-of-31 passes and had two interceptions in Monday's loss to the unbeaten Texans. And despite the calls for Tim Tebow, Jets coach Rex Ryan says he will stay with Sanchez. There's "no question" Sanchez is still the starter, Ryan said. Reports prior to Monday's game indicated that Tebow could have a larger role but ultimately he was in on only seven snaps in the loss to the Texans. The Jets are still Sanchez's team -- for now.

'The Jets are still Sanchez's team'

I think not if it means continuing to lose!!!

DOES IT MATTER?????

I wish the media would shut up about Tebow. Last night didn't show he's this superhero....one rush, gets a few yards...runs again and gets stuffed for a loss.
Tebow's a joke as a QB....just make him a RB.

Sanchez played fine...if receivers have balls going right through their hands, that's not the fault of the QB. That last play is technically an INT...but once again it was a ball that bounced off a receiver's hands.

I don't care about the Sanchez or the Jets...I just hate the Tebow hype. He shouldn't even be in the NFL as a QB...CFL maybe.

Poor Jets fans...

Gotta recognize how stubborn and helpless the Jests are. They'll stick with Sanchez not cause they trust him, Tebow has shown nothing this season.

Sanchez is all they have. What other choice is there? McElroy? Maybe next year.

They can bring in Tom Brady, and Jets will only be marginally better. With no one to throw to, what can QBs do? It takes 2 to tango... ya know...

The rallying cry of J-E-T-S fans everywhere...

Maybe next year they get a new coach and a new GM, too.

Of course!!! Why wouldn't she be proud???

I agree that no quarterback could do anything with that offense at the moment, due, at least in part, to all the injuries. But I still think Sanchez isn't ever going to be the quarterback they want him to be. He shows flashes of ability and confidence, but flashes won't ever cut it in the NFL, especially not when they're shoehorned into lots of spotty decision-making.

The actual headline of this article should read 'Jets Sticking with Losing!'

October 9, 2012  11:58 AM ET

The problem with the team is the three-headed monster: Woody Johnson, Tannenbaum and Ryan. Their offseason consisted of bringing in Tebow instead of needed personnel. Their O-line gave Sanchez no time to throw, their key players are injured and, everyone (Ryan included) have blank stares on their faces like they have no clue what is going on.

I don't like the Jets, but I sure feel sorry for their fans.

So are Vince Young and Jamarcus Russel. They could help on the O Line.
