12:19 PM ET 10.09 | The Phoenix Suns building, the U.S. Airways Center, is about 10 years away from the end of its projected useful life. The team and the city have already begun discussions about what comes next. Suns spokesman Casey Taggatz said the National Basketball Association team is talking to Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton about the matter. "The Suns continue to discuss options with the Mayor's office with the goal of determining a mutually agreed upon solution. Out of respect for those ongoing discussions, we feel it is inappropriate to comment any further at this time," Taggatz said.

In the context of this here article i'd just like to make aware that Sarver is barely a billionaire. His finances have fallen into question ever since he purchased the Suns, and he is also becoming widely regarded as a terrible owner.

And i sincerely hope they take heed to your idea of renovation. Because lord knows the city of PHoenix cannot afford this right now, not with lightrail debt sales taxes going into effect, neighboring Glendale is broke from all them stadiums. It is becoming increasingly expensive to live in Arizona.

There's absolutely NO reason to be looking for a new arena when the current one is perfectly fine and ideally located. If a new arena plan gets shot down, I wouldn't be surprised if Sarver started stirring the pot about relocating the team.
