01:32 PM ET 10.09 | The Buffalo Bills have yet to meet the lofty expectations many had for the team this season. The Bills lost their last two games, and failed to score more than 3 points against the 49ers in Week 5. In spite of those struggles, head coach Chan Gailey is sticking with his quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick. Asked about the if he still believes in his signal caller, Gailey said: "Because I've seen the guy play well and win games. You have, too. Everybody's seen him do that. You know he can do it."

Damn. I was just reading that Alex Karras has acute kidney failure, and has only a few days left.

Thanks for the memories, Mongo.

You go with what you have on the roster at this point in the season.

Not many Carson Palmers out there on a couch looking for work. Come to think about it that has not worked out too well for the Raiders has it.

or

I could have asked:

Who are they going to get Culpepper or McNabb? or do you know of any other QB's sitting around wanting another job?

NO NOT THAT GUY IN MISSISSIPPI!

I think they should take another look at last year's Punt, Pass and Kick competition.

That Emily could really chuck it.

What Gailey is really saying is: "Have you seen our depth chart at QB?"

Other than losing to the Jets, I don't think anyone expected them to beat New England or San Fran. Plus Spiller getting hurt didn't help. They'll be a middle-of-the-pack team again. They're just the Bills...

If they're "just the Bills," then the will be well behind the pack. Which is where I expect them to be.
