08:08 AM ET 10.10 | Metta World Peace refers to the Lakers' starters as "five rock stars" -- and then there is Antawn Jamison. [After] representing the U.S. at the 2006 world championships, after being traded four times, he's just fine being a radar blip. ... "I might be only the sixth-best guy on the team. Shoot, I welcome that. It's a fun time for me." He is gracious with that time and remarkably accommodating for being part of a franchise that, frankly, doesn't need the media. Jamison repeatedly says he has been blessed. He talks about having done things the right way, professionally. Among the reasons he desires a title is to "make my parents proud." How many 36-year-old pro athletes would say that?

I like Jamison as a person, very humble guy. Being a hall of famer is another story. If it doesn't take him at least 2 to 3 more tries than Rodman (who IMO should have been a 1st ballet or at the very least, 2nd) to get in, then the hall is a comlete joke and a popularity contest and not based upon skills set, rings, and play recognitiion!

Jamison has always been professional and even if his game looks weird at times he could put up points but if he makes the HOF then Im going streaking at the presidential inauguration...

Us Laker fans are glad he's part of the team. We don't worry about the HOF, only championships. If he's a part of the next Laker championship team, that will be a plus to his excellent career.
