08:16 AM ET 10.10 | The secret to Florida's success against LSU Saturday had a lot to do with the fact that on some plays, the Gators had as many as seven offensive linemen on the field. "Some of the [defensive] ends are used to having tight ends on them and all of the sudden ... you've got a guy that's 300 pounds," Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease said. "When you look at that one time, there's seven guys there that are probably 300-plus [pounds]. ... Florida's improved play up front up front offensively has paved the way for the emergence of RB Mike Gillislee, who leads the SEC with 109.6 yards per game. Together, Gillislee and the line have spearheaded what is perhaps the Gators' most significant turnaround since last season.

If you have a bunch of o-linemen and can't throw and catch, why not?

Yes indeed, the Gators have been playing great ball and I'm still surprsied that they ran the ball so well against LSU, but there are still a few tough games for Florida to play. I wish them well.

Good point, why pass when you can make 6/7 yards on first down by running the ball?. The only time a non passing team should throw the ball is, if they are in a passing down, like 2nd or 3rd and 9/10 yrds
