Roethlisberger closing in on Terry Bradshaw's Steelers passing record

We expected the Texans-Jets game to be a blowout, too, but it wasn't.

Moral of the story: Don't go into any NFL game expecting a cake walk.

Roethlisberger is also closing in on the "making passes at women" record.

The interesting part of this story will be watching Terry Bradshaw's expression and listening to him repeatedly saying 'I'm fine' as this happens.

Give them their due, the Jets put up a fight in that game. Losing like that probably hurt worse than the blowout loss to the '9ers.

Ben has the benefit of playing in an era where the offense has benefited tremendously by rule changes wheras Bradshaw played in an era where defense mattered. Can't compare the two.

Also can't compare the two because of Roethlisrapist's off-the-field record.

What's the deal with "Low Informed"? While no charges were filed in the GA case apparently, Roethlisberger did settle the Tahoe case, which was a civil one, throwing hush-money at the girl to the tune of about half a mil. You hardly do that if you're innocent. Plus,this was rape incident #2. Presumption is what it is: Ben ain't no "pillar." More like a "pillock" for getting himself in stupid situations.

Bradshaw called his own plays and audibles. Other than P. Manning, they all only check into another call.

Maybe you and I would prefer that he not date our sisters, by why not ask them? My sister is 63 years old, gray-haired, overweight and single. She has a lot of cats, too. Do you think she'd like to date Big Ben? At a certain point, his reputation might start to look pretty good to them. I'm not sure she could get him that drunk, though.

Records will always be broken....but if I could have either one as QB in his prime it would be Bradshaw.
