BTW, the cancellation of the Winter Classic (as well as the rest of the season) is what Don Fehr wants for you and until and unless someone takes my advice it is what you'll get.

Have the NHL put the rink in my back yard. You boys are invited. Bon fire...seafood bake in the pot over the open fire.....play some puck, drink some suds and have some old fashion yucks. Who knows maybe Burkie will be calling the house looking to sign someone before all the festivities conclude :)

they tried to make an issue of it up here. Frankly, I don't see the issue. If they need to go to Ann Arbor to see the logistics of parking, etc, they can go to any of the games in the big-house, given that they are all sell-outs. The Wolverines are hosting 3 consecutive home games in November, including the final game vs Ohio State, which would probably serve as a better example than the Michigan vs State game anyways.

I'm not a huge fan, but Leafs vs Wings at the Big House kind of interests me.

Actually, the Ohio Sate game is away this year. I just checked the schedule.
