08:22 AM ET 10.10 | The career of former No. 9 overall pick James Sheppard, who's now in Worcester of the AHL, appears to be back on track after an ATV accident in Vail during the 2010 offseason. Sheppard even scored a goal in Worcester's preseason game last Thursday, a 4-3 loss to the Connecticut Whale (which was led by Calder Trophy candidate and Rangers playoff hero Chris Kreider, who tallied a hat trick). "I feel really good. I feel in shape, I feel energetic, and I'm really happy to be playing hockey again," Sheppard told me on Tuesday, via telephone. ... When and if the NHL season gets under way, it will be interesting to see where Sheppard ends up, provided he stays healthy.

Ill always take it in Upper Sackville over Lower Sackville. They're way more sensitive down there.
