"You gotta punt the ball, Norv!"

03:26 PM ET 10.10 | All Chargers fans want to yell at Norv Turner for his decisions. We all yell at him through the TV screen or our seats in the stands. What happens when the starting quartberback, Philip Rivers, yells at him? NOTHING. Norv turns and ignores it. After Rivers was sacked for an 8-yard loss, the Chargers decided to go for a 55-yard field goal in the second quarter instead of punting the ball away and pinning Drew Brees back. The Chargers missed the field goal, then Philip decided to yell at Norv for not punting the ball away.

Jay Cutler walks away from the OC during a game and it's national news. Phillip Rivers screams like a spoiled little girl at the HC, second guessing him in front of the entire team during a game and its no big deal. Mark Sanchez has done more in the playoffs than Rivers, who led one of the most overrated, underachieving teams of all time. When does he start to feel the heat?

There's no explaining it. Cutler and Eli simply are more targetable for some reason.

Cutler might be the most unpopular QB in the league for some reason. Aside from not winning "big games" I don't really know why

Cutler often conducts himself in a very doooshy manner.
Allegedly.

Romo never wins big games either, and as for Eli I am pretty sure that no 2 time superbowl mvp gets less respect than him

Can't say that I watch that many Bears games to be truthful Jay, but I've seen pretty much every qb throw a temper tantrum on the sidelines at least once.

Cutler can be a complete ****. Trust me, I'm a Broncos fan, I know. The point is, Rivers acts up on the sidelines and disrespects the head coach in front of the whole team during a game. Yeah, it's only Norv, but what the hell has Phillip done? The majority of the Charger's problems in the playoffs come down to the players coming up very small in big games. All the other QB's on teams that fold in the playoffs (Cutler and Romo being prime examples) get reamed, but Rivers keeps being viewed as an elite QB.

NO argument there. That AFC title game they lost to the Pats was the worst case of players coming up small I've ever seen

I hope you are wrong, but him being an abuse victim to Baltimore is the way to bet.

They all do at some point. It's just a bigger bandwagon for Cutler-haters. In a lot of cases, some pile on Cutler because they see others do it... a great example of the herd mentality. The media knows it, and just gives everyone what they think they want.

While we're on the topic of QBs... this is pretty funny:

Never. Or at least not until Norv is gone. To be honest, I think Norv needs to be shaken up. He's the problem with this team, not Rivers.

I liked it better when he got in his O-line's face than when he went of by himself and sulked. Football is a game of emotion. Show it.
