Top recruit skipping Penn State trip
The latest episode of As Terrelle Turns has taken another twist. Terrelle Pryor, the nation's top recruit, will not make an official visit to Penn State this weekend, according to rivals.com. Last Friday, the 6-foot-6, 235-pound quarterback wrote in his Pittsburgh Post-Gazette diary that he "probably" would visit State College for his second official visit.

Figures, Penn State looses another recruit. Maybe I should jump on the bandwagon like everybody else and root for every SEC team out there.
?what?

I never like to see top recruits go out of state but Penn State will be just fine with or without Pryor.

It figures. This kid has made up his mind. It's Ohio State or Michigan.

I heard he added LSU to his list. I don't know who it will be. I think that OSU and Michigan are the top 2 teams, but it would be weird for a recruit to add another team this late in the game.

that report was from the same people who said oregon was one of his favs....the only person that really knows is him, and honestly I'm tired of it....
I hopre he signs with a school that he will get rocked at his first year, so he can see, D1 is alot different than Penn. High Schools...

I didnt mean that to be a dig against penn high school at all, I'm sure its as good as any, but given his attitude I wouldn't mind to see him get a dose of reality from a Dan Connor, James Laurenitis, or Ray Maluga....
Just kind of a welcome to D1 type of thing....

The guy loves attention; I hope he can get into the endzone 1/2 as much as he manages to get into the news. If he does he will the best player in College football.

xxx84, if he picks Michigan and they play him in '08, I think there's a good chance you'll get your wish. It will be like an '07 Jimmy Clausen do-over.

You can't compare this kid to Clausen, period. There are absolutely no similarities. If a play breaks down he has the ability to make something happen with his feet. His arm strength is better than Clausen.
This guy is a program changer in my opinion. For those that doesn't have a chance at him playing for your school, why be ill-willed?
Penn Starter...Trust me Penn State like all other schools in the country would be better with him than w/o him. I do agree that he may not be ready to start the opener for no one next fall.
Based on potential he has all the tools and will be a very good college player. Did you see him in the All-Star game? He was without a doubt the best player on the field.
EVERY coach in america would want this kid in their program!!

That is the only reason I want to see him start for Michigan next year if he goes there. Too bad Dan Connor is gone, it will have to be Sean Lee again.

I wonder how much he is really considering Florida. The fact that Tebow is also a spread option QB and that Meyer produced a #1 pick in Alex Smith should help their cause. Plus he has watched Tebow win a nat champ, follow that up with the Heisman and probably be followed up with early entry and big contract to the NFL. Add that to the nice weather and scantily clad ladies of Gainesville, this should work in Florida's favor.
