Ohio State denies pizza firing responsibility

03:19 PM ET 10.11 | Did Ohio State defensive coordinator Luke Fickell get a Columbus pizza delivery driver fired for a joke about the Buckeyes' defense? Seems somewhat unlikely, and the school is denying the young man's story:
Well, then Ohio State sent out this message about the, uh, incident: A slight (or a flippant remark or an inappropriate comment) was made by an employee of a retail establishment to Mrs. Fickell. The Fickells DID NOT call the manager to complain. The manager found out about the incident (presumably from someone at the restaurant). The manager called the Fickells to ask what was said by his employee. They told him. And just like they did not place a call to complain, they also did not ask that anyone be fired. In fact, they feel terrible that this person lost his job. All they did was order pizza.

Yes and I am sure you would have sent your mother over to tell the manager. Somethings come with the territory...Pizza delivery and TSUN grad's. I hope this will be lesson to Luke and he should make sure not to have any more pizza's delivered as I sure they will be a little soggy!
