No, LSU players aren't blaming heat for loss

03:22 PM ET 10.11 | A quote by LSU linebacker Kevin Minter was taken out of context this week and used to imply that Tigers players were complaining en masse about the hot weather in Florida, when in fact it was just one player making one remark while talking about his beaten-down defense:
The only story here is that LSU's defense got tired, but that should be patently obvious when Florida won the time of possession battle 37:24 to 22:36. Defenses wear down when they're on the field all game. In other news, water tends to be wet. Minter's comment about cramping, however, opened the door for Guilbeau to work his magic.

LOL, I would have made the "LUS on the Florida bandwagon comment" earlier, but I went to the casino this morning, as usual I came back "shortless"!!!! :-)

Good point, all you have to do is stop LSU's running game and they fall to pieces. Actually it is "easier said than done".

I have to agree with you on that one. Oregon and Washington didn't/don't have the type of defense to stop the running game. Maybe Oregon is more equipped to stop the run this year. That was LSU's problem against Florida, they couldn't run the ball (42 total yrds rushing) and when they were put in a 2nd or 3rd and long, then LSU couldn't pass the ball either.
