Knicks' chemistry an early concern

08:10 AM ET 10.12 | Is J.R. Smith's disappointment merely the tip of the iceberg for Mike Woodson? Woodson could have his work cut out for him in terms of trying to keep his players happy. When Ronnie Brewer , Iman Shumpert and Marcus Camby return from injuries and Rasheed Wallace works himself into shape, the Knicks are going to have a deep team filled with veterans who have started, been All-Stars and closed games. For example, Jason Kidd -- who said he's fine with backing up Raymond Felton but expects to finish games -- will have a different role. So managing egos and getting everyone to buy in to his role will be a major part of Woodson's job in his first full season as Knicks coach. "I'm in it for one thing, and that's to win," he said. "We've got to leave the egos at the door."

Apple is in full effect this morning. Look I don't really expect anything other hate filled post from da posters. You know the ones that particularly hate Melo. First will be the suggestion that he's not a team player and he won't buy in so trade him. Here's a little info for the fools who believe this,........Melo is the face of the Knicks and a mega superstar so stop dreamin he ain't goin nowhere. Woodson ass will be ghost before Melo as far as Jimmy Boy Dolan is concerned. Two things you can bank on and that is.....Zeke wit all da freaks will always be his boy" and "Melo is his main attraction", so all you haters of Melo, "save you posts" cause it will be to no avail. Melo don't have to worry about minutes and you can bank on that so who are we kiddin? Additionally, this is how it goes.......Melo, Pat, Bernard, Willis & Clyde, those are the billboards here in New York, get it, the mail attractions. This is a little lesson or edjumakation fa da fools

Hey I still say the Knicks are going to surprise people. My only worry for them is can those old guys handle 82 and a playoff run.
