02:12 PM ET 10.12 | The Detroit Lions are hoping to have running back Jahvid Best back in the mix soon. Best is on the PUP list and eligible to return in Week 7. He first has to clear a battery of concussion tests, something the Lions were confident he would do when he took them on Monday. Detroit was expecting to get the test results for Best on Friday. When head coach Jim Schwartz was asked for an update on Best's status he had nothing to say.

That's a pretty mean headache

They are afraid an official press release might injure him as he reads it.

He will probably drop the injury report on his foot and break it.

T.O just tweeted he's willing to play RB...

Best should be careful--mother Lions are not to be trifled with.

So instead of dropping passes he can just fumble in the backfield I suppose.

To my way of thinking Jahvid Best and Austin Collie need to be the poster children of Das Commisar's effort to make this a safer game. These guy's brains are going to be scrambled eggs on toast if someone doesn't get them out of the NFL.
